A benefit of having an implant is the neighboring teeth do not need to be involved in treatment.

People prone to nocturnal bruxism, or nighttime clenching, should routinely wear occlusal splints at night. There are many products available for patients to whiten their teeth. These products include custom fabricated trays with a bleaching gel to take home and Glo whitening done in the dental office using a UV light that whitens the teeth a few shades in just one visit.
Porcelain veneers are used to modify the shape and color of teeth. Veneers are thin shells of porcelain that are etched and then bonded to the enamel of the teeth. Tooth preparation is usually necessary to avoid over bulking of the tooth, but it is limited to the enamel and usually involves the front of the tooth.
